This exciting new Fundraiser called CCFC Euro 2021 is well under way and has been well supported near and far. With over 100 people in the competition ,there is much at stake here with the top prize of €350. Thanks and well done to Paul Blackwell for running this.

Cappamore lost a good friend and supporter of all things local over the week. He was a man of many talents that lived every day to the fullest. His contribution to the Cappamore Show will never be forgotten and he really put this show on the map with his continuous involvement and guidance. To his credit he is the longest reigning show secretary in the county. Our thought are with is family and may he Rest In Rest.

With a Song in Our Hearts.

The book, With a Song in Our Hearts was launched recently. This book tells of the life and times of the Sliabh Feilim Singers since the choir’s foundation in 1978. Down through the years this choir has participated in many community events and also raised thousands of euros for local, national and international good causes.
