Bilboa Lotto Results:

The jackpot of €15,000 was not won. Bridge Cards:

This game has started up again in Boher after the summer break. We play on Monday nights in Boher Community Centre (the Station House) starting at 7.30pm. New members are very welcome. Contact Bridie at 086 8666771

Cappamore Development Association

At a recent CDA meeting, the rental charges for the hall and the meeting rooms in the community centre were discussed. It was outlined that the existing charges have been in place for a very long time. Given that the running costs for the Centre have gone up significantly in the last number of years due to increases in inflation, oil, insurance, electricity, heating, maintenance, etc., it was decided to revise the rental prices upwards. The new charges are available on the Community Centre section of our web site http://www.cappamore.ie [cappamore.ie]. These charges come into effect on the 1st Oct 2023.

Cappamore GAA and Camogie club Lotto:

Green and Gold Lotto draw was held on Monday September 11th for Jackpot of €6600 and there was no winner. Lucky Dip winners were Aisling McKenna, Cooga; Noel Devine, Gurtnascarry; Sally Ryan, Killuragh; Jacko Breen, c/o Matthew O’ Malley; Davy Charles; D.F.D., c/o Jody; Betty Doyle; Leanne Doyle; Norma O’ Malley; Mary & Chloe, c/o Mike Lonergan.

They invite you to submit articles/ reports/ photos for possible inclusion in the Society’s 2023 Yearbook. Your article should be submitted as a size 12, word document. Captions for photos should be typed and included in the document, clearly indicating where they are to be placed. Photos should not be embedded in the article but should be sent separately in jpeg format. Please limit photos to a maximum of three. Word count should not exceed 1500 words. All material is accepted on the understanding that is an original piece or that the permission of the author has been obtained and acknowledged. Send to cappamore16@ gmail.com. The latest date for receipt of material is October 1st. Material received after this date may not be included. We must adhere to this deadline to ensure that the books are available in early December. All articles are subject to editing. Cappamore Bingo Committee:

They are hosting a special Bingo in aid of Milford Hospice on Thursday 21st September at 8pm. We would hope all people of Cappamore and local parishes would support same. Any donations or Raffle Prizes can be given to any Bingo Committee.

Cappamore Celtic FC:

The August Split the Bucket was won by Stephen Redfern and the prize money was €441. Thanks to all who supported this draw which took place recently during the Graham Dunne memorial game of cards in O Dwyer’s Lounge.
