Subject: [EXTERNAL]Sign-ups are now open for The Ark’s Summer BCP Programme: free workshops and show

Good afternoon,

I am pleased to share the below information for an Arts and Culture thematic programme running at BCPs over the summer.

This programme is being run by The Ark and is funded by DRCD.

Sign-ups are now open for The Ark’s Summer BCP Programme! BCPs can register to participate in storytelling and visual arts workshops throughout the month of August. In addition, BCPs can sign-up to screen both The Making of Mollie (play) and The Race (dance show) from Monday 1 July until Sunday 25 August. All events are free of charge.

Interested BCPs can fill in the appropriate jotform to receive access to the shows and workshops. The Ark team will follow up with confirmation details as well as promotional materials and material packs, as required, for the workshops. As The Ark confirms bookings, they will list them on their website so that public audiences can find events in their area throughout the summer.

Please find more details for booking on The Ark’s website here.

In response to feedback from last year’s programme, the DRCD is also providing a contribution cost to BCPs that host these events this summer. Participating BCPs can invoice the Ark for up to €80 as a contribution towards the cost of hosting an event. If a BCP hosts multiple Ark events over the course of the year, the maximum amount which can be claimed is €360.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,

Amy
