Limerick County Council have arranged with Cappamore Housing Association CLG to repurpose the former Convent in Cappamore as a Local Authority operated temporary accommodation centre for beneficiaries of temporary protection .Work to prepare the Convent for up to 26 Beneficiaries will begin shortly. We will keep the people of parish updated as work is near completion on Parish Newsletter Cappamore Parish Website and Limerick Leader notes

Cappamore Youth Choir.

Cappamore Youth Choir resumes after the Summer break. The Youth Choir is open to all Primary School and Secondary School students and to all who are young at heart. Rehearsal in St. Michael’s Church on Thursday, 22nd September from 8 to 9 o’clock. Singing at the 7.30 evening Mass on Saturday, 24th September. Why not come along and let’s make music together!

In conjunction with Milford Hospice Coffee Day Cappamore Bingo Committee are holding a special Bingo on Thursday night September 22nd at 8pm with 2600 prize money to be won also on same night O’ Dwyers Bar and Lounge are holding their annual coffee evening we would ask people of parish and local areas to support same or donations can be given to any of the fundraising events Cappamore Bingo celebrate 50 years next year and are now planning for this major event
