Cappamore Church Youth Choir.
Cappamore Youth Choir will be taking part in the Mass of Thanksgiving and Farewell for the Mercy Sisters. After this it will be taking a break for the Summer. Thanks to Kitty Sheehan and Michael O’Brien, musical directors and to all the young singers and musicians for sharing their talents with the parish over the last nine months. We look forward to hearing their dulcet tones again when the Choir resumes in September.

The Mass of Thanksgiving and Farewell, to mark the departure of the Mercy Sisters after 123 years of service in our parish, will take place on Sunday, 9th June at 11 o’clock. Refreshments will be served in the Community Centre after Mass. This day will be our parish tribute to the Mercy Sisters for all they have given to Cappamore over many generations. Please pass on the word to relatives who are away especially to past pupils of the Sisters.

The Ballyhoura North East District Forum will take place on Wednesday, May 29th, in the Millenium Centre, Caherconlish @ 7:30pm. ( See attached poster )
Please extend this invitation to your group members, and join us for community information, networking and a special workshop to help with your funding applications.
The workshop, with O’ Leary Consultancy, is “Crafting Your Funding Application”. The focus is due to a number of funding calls currently open including Community Enhancement Programme, Town and Village Renewal, Rural Regeneration and LEADER. This will support groups to access and apply for funding.

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk.
Cappamore ICA is organising a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk on Tuesday, 28th May. This 5km looped walk starts at 7.30 from the Community Centre. Donations accepted on registration. Refreshments served afterwards. Come along and join in this lively and enjoyable event and support a good cause at the same time.
