EAST U 21 HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP
Cappamore vs Murroe Boher
1 : 13 – 1 : 13
2019-02-16 / 3 00 PM / Cappamore.
Our under 21s got the season off to a start with a draw against our neighbours in Murroe Boher.
It was a lively game with both teams trying to unlock two tight defences. A goal from in form Jack Leonard in the 15th minute was the key score of the first half. Paul Campbell, Kevin Doyle, Conor O’Brien and Jack Sheehan were excellent in defence, with Jack Leonard and Jamie McCarthy a thorn in the side of the Murroe /Boher defence. Cappamore were up 1-7 to 0-7 at the break. The second half was similar to the first in a very tight game. Cappamore were up 1-13 to 0 -13 going into extra time, we conceded a 20 meter free which was converted by Gavin Ryan of Murroe /Boher. This was the last score of the game.
Replacements: Mickey Moore for Denis O’Donoghue after 45 minutes.

All-Ireland Junior B hurling Championship
OYLEGATE-GLENBRIEN (Wexford) 1-15 CAPPAMORE (Limerick) 0-11
Cappamore were always chasing this game against a talented Wexford side.
A goal by Oylegate-Glenbrien 8 minutes before half time making the task even more difficult.
With the breeze in their backs in the 2nd half and only 5 points behind Cappamore with a dominant half back line were hurling well and were beginning to look like winners. However when a rare goal chance just after half time went over the bar it was always going to be a struggle.
Scorers: Liam Creamer 0-8 (7 frees, 1 ‘65’), Jamie McCarthy, Jack Walsh, Darragh O’Dwyer 0-1 each.
Team: Shane Slattery; Conor Fitzgibbon, Séamus Lane, Kevin Doyle; Mark Tracey, Jack Sheehan, Paddy Ryan; Anthony Foley, Conor O’Brien; Kevin Ryan, Jack Walsh, Liam Creamer; Jamie McCarthy, Éamonn Moloney, Donal O’Mahoney. SUBS: Matthew Ryan for Donal O’Mahoney (38 minutes), Darragh O’Dwyer for Mark Tracey (48 minutes).
