Cappamore Youth Choir

Cappamore Youth Choir

Cappamore Youth Choir will hold its next rehearsal on Thursday, 26th May from 8 to 9 o’clock in St. Michael’s Church. The choir will sing at the 7.30 evening Mass on Saturday, 28th May. The choir is open to all students from Fifth Class upwards and, in fact, to all who are young at heart. So why not join us in the Choir Gallery for the rehearsal and the Mass? Come along and let’s make music together!

Full version of Ballyhoura May Networking Forum Invite

On Saturday May 21st, Ballyhoura Development CLG invite all community members to the first in-person District Forum of 2022.

The event will run from 10am – 12:30pm and is designed as an opportunity to meet and re-engage in person in the beautiful surrounds of the Old Chapel Rooms, the former Church of Ireland in Kilfinane.

What’s on the agenda?

  • Guest Speaker Dr Maura Adshead will deliver the key note address focussing on post pandemic looking forward and opportunities for communities.
  • A panel of local community groups will discuss their projects and plans from the pandemic and hopes for the future in their communities.
  • There will be a focus on community inclusion with a discussion on the Ukranian Crisis and how this impacts our communities and key supports available
  • The morning will allow plenty of round table chats and cups of tea along with opportunities to meet Ballyhoura Development staff members and find out about opportunities available.

We look forward to welcoming community groups to Kilfinane and hope you will be available to join us!
