We are now taking appointments for the flu vaccine 2021/2022

In order to keep telephone calls to a minimum the person making the appointment may do so for more than one person.

We will need to know whether each patient is under or over 65 years of age, as there are 2 different vaccines this year. Under 65-year-olds MUST have a chronic condition to avail of the free flu vaccine.

Please note, Nasal vaccines for children (2-17 yrs) are NOT available yet.

St. Michael’s Day Care Centre:

It is now re-opened over a month and all is going very well. Patrons come from all parishes across East Limerick and enjoy an active and happy day under the care of the Manager Liz and her wonderful staff. Minor 12 aside championship Semi Final result:

In what was horrible conditions, the girls were once again brilliant, they started off slow but started to come into it as the game went on and put in a great shift especially in second half and were deserving winners. County final next Wednesday 15th against Adare in Fedamore @ 6.30pm

Kilmallock opened up the game with a quick goal and a point by the end of the first water break. Cappamore came alive scoring two goals and two points. Kilmallock responded scoring another goal by half-time putting Cappamore ahead by a point for the half-time whistle.
In the second half Cappamore had the upper hand and maintained their pace and performance throughout scoring 3-2 and with great teamwork and diligence Cappamore only allowed Kilmallock to score two more points by the full-time whistle. Cappamore were victorious with the full-time score Cappamore 5-4 to Kilmallock 2-3.

Cappamore U9s played out a competitive match hosting Ahane last Monday evening in Cappamore.
Ahane traveled with a large under 9 group of over 30 players.
Two matches were played side by side with Tom Earlie captaining the Cappamore Shamrocks while Seánie Sweeney captained the Cappamore Celts. Great display of skills and effort once again by both Cappamore teams.

Traditional Irish Music Classes :

Craobh Pheig Uí Riain are delighted to be able to resume face to face traditional Irish Music Classes once again following the lifting of some Covid 19 restrictions that enable us to meet again. Registration will take place on Tuesday 14th September from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm at Cappamore Community Centre (note change of venue and day). Regular classes will then commence on Tuesday 21st September at Cappamore Community Centre. Tuition is given by very experienced teachers and students are prepared for SCT exams run by Comhaltas along with Fleadh Cheoil competitions. All traditional instruments are taught including Tin Whistle, Flute, Fiddle, Concertina, Button Accordion, Banjo, . Classes are suitable for beginners , improvers and advanced levels.
