Leader: Cappamore Notes 20 April 2020

Cappamore Show cancelled 2020:

Following a recommendation from the Irish Shows Association and in solidarity with the various authorities during the present crisis , all Shows are been cancelled in 2020 . Accordingly , Cappamore Show which was scheduled for Saturday 15th August will not be held .Since the Show started in 1954 this is the second occasion on which the event was cancelled , the previous time was in 2001 due to the Foot & Mouth restrictions. As a result of this action if we save just one life it is worthwhile. In the meantime we can play our part by observing guidelines. Stay safe so that we can rebound with renewed vigour in 2021
