Local hero.
Munster Wheelchair Hurling Camogie Club first captain of the Junior Players is our own Miss Sophie Keogh. This very stylish young lady is well able to talk-up for herself. She is quick off the mark when the ball is heading towards her and has an excellent shot at goal. She has the most pleasant disposition and if there was an “All-Star” for the Fanciest Hair Bows in the GAA, this young lady would be first up to the podium, every time! Well done Sophie.
Cappamore Celtic FC :
The Ladies have started to train this week for the new league starting in the Summer. If you are interested in joining the team as a player or just come along to training for fitness, please reach out to Helen at 087-9806118. To play you only have to be 16 years of age and be a team player. Best of luck to all in the new season, especially to the new managers Ger Griffin and Colin Naughton. Ger and Colin together will bring years of experiences and skills to the team. The fundraiser called CCFC Euro 2021 completion is open now to all and can get an entry form from Paul Blackwell at 087-7784381.
