Kathryn Crowley, daughter of Willie Crowley who used to live in Cappamore, has published a collection of poems and short stories called ‘The Pollen Pages’.
‘The Pollen Pages’ is a collection about living through grief, nature, love, freedom, and more.
“When my father Willie Crowley was knocked down, it was hell. He died a few days later, and a few months later I broke my ankle.
There was no choice but to sit with the shock and grief. Writing got me through, and later, counselling with Limerick social services helped a lot too. A few years later I began writing new poetry, and published a chapbook. Grief never ends, but creativity is great therapy and I hope people get some inspiration from my first collection. “
