Cappamore Defibrillator:

One of the defibrillator has been removed from it box on Tuesday January 10th and if anyone has any information regarding this please contact the Gardai. This group would also like to thank St. Ailbe’s Credit Union with the headquarters in Caherconlish for their generous donation to the upkeep of the defibrillators in the parish. The batteries and pads of these vital equipment need replacing every 2.3 years approximately and they costly items to replace. Currently there are 5 De-Fils throughout the parish and the contact number is 085 7474998.

Cappamore GAA and Camogie club:

Green and Gold Lotto draw was held on Tuesday January 9th for Jackpot of €5600 and there was no winner. To Robbie Hammersley Croughlahan who was the worthy Cappamore Club recipient of an East Board Gaels award at the recent well attended awards night in Caherconlish. Robbie received the award for his dedicated contribution to Gaelic Games particularly Hurling at all grades both on and off the field over the years.

Welcome morning:

The plans for Ukrainian welcome morning is at an advance stage. The hope is to hold an event within the few weeks at Cappamore Day Care Centre.

East Gaels Awards:

Congratulations to Robbie Hammersley Snr. Croughlahan who was the Cappamore recipient of an award at the recent hugely successful East Gaels Awards Night at the Millennium Centre Caherconlish. Robbie’s contribution locally to the GAA over a long period both as a player and mentor was acknowledged on the night.
